The first thing to wear out on a CNC machine is often the drawbar!

Belleville springs hold the arbor in the spindle during cutting AND they are often the first thing to wear out on a CNC Machining Center. Just one broken spring has a huge effect on clamping force. Chatter, low tool life, poor finishes, less repeatability, and scrap parts are the result.
